10-Fold Path To Becoming Rich And Wealthy.

In my study of rich and wealthy people, I discovered that every one of them has initially adopted a preferred path to success.

There are generally ten major pathways.

I call them the 10-Fold Path to becoming rich and wealthy.

By understanding different pathways, it will help you find the appropriate path of least resistance to wealth.

It will also help you establish individual and organisational capacity and competence to develop different pathways to acquire financial success.

These pathways can be correlated to psychological models such as the Five Factor Model (FFM).

The FFM covers the big five personality traits of openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism or emotional stability (OCEAN). It accounts for different traits in personality and they are deem to be connected to specific parts of the brain.

If you study Greek mythology. You will realise that the ten different pathways have been depicted in the lives of mythological gods and goddess.

It goes to prove that discoveries of modern age have been in existence since the beginning of time. We have merely affirmed truths of age-old wisdom.

In a nut shell, let me share with you the 10-Fold Path to becoming rich and wealthy.

Entrepreneur’s Perspective

The important lessons to bear in mind for an entrepreneur are as follows:

1. Know thyself

You need to know yourself and trust your intuition and emotion before you can decide on the most appropriate path for yourself.

In addition, you need to invest time and energy to develop your chosen path before it can deliver the desired results.

You need to believe in the tremendous potential and capability that our Creator has endowed upon you. You can create your own path to financial success.

2. Leverage on your strengths

There is no single and absolute path to be rich and wealthy.

As a start, you need to choose the path that is most appropriate to you, one that will optimize your edge, advantage and growth.

The choice of the path depends on the following:

2.1 Purpose. It serves your purpose in starting a business.

2.2 Personality. It leverages on the strengths of your personality.

2.3 Passion. It should invoke meaning, fun and excitement.

2.4 Performance. It should be a path that can help you perform well and better than your targeted competitors.

It plays to your advantage because you have an edge or you CAN have an edge in terms of your knowledge, attitude, skills, habits (KASH).

2.5 Priority. It should be a path that is relevant and significant at this time and in your current situation.

3. Cover your weaknesses.

You need to retain different talents to cover your weaknesses. In addition, you need to build organisation, system and processes to secure and enhance your business model and operation.

4. Work towards a holistic model of growth.

As you work on your chosen path, learn to develop a targeted, holistic and balanced set of competences so that you can choose different and perhaps more effective paths. You can also have more options to grow your business.

Develop qualities of adaptability, agility and tenacity for both yourself and your team. In that way, you can survive any turbulence and exploit the silver lining in every storm.

5. Flourish on your chosen path.

As a rule of thumb, be the best in your chosen path and stick with it. Learn to enjoy the journey and continue to improve yourself.

May the right path be with you.

The more you reach out to bless other lives, the richer and better your life will become. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A Personal Note to my Friends The articles that I post online; or what I term as Love Notes, are written with the purpose of inspiring readers to live at a higher plane in life. They are also meant to motivate those who are struggling in life and help them find handlers to overcome their conflicts and challenges. It is my ardent hope that we will form networks and alliances of like-minded people who will put to right many of the wrongs in our midst. Together, we will leverage on each other's resources and create a synergistic impact in making our world a better home. These articles are written as part of regular reflection about the vicissitudes of life. They are at best work in progress and at worst, grumblings, grouses, and gripings of a finite old man. I have deliberately decided NOT to delete many of the articles and pointers that I may not agree with or are outrightly wrong. This is to keep a record of how my personal ideas, beliefs, and values have evolved over time. In addition, I hope to encourage readers by letting them know that I also make mistakes and am struggling with many of the complexity and complication in life. As long as we hang on to hope and work on finding a solution, there will be light at the end of whatever tunnel we are in. I do not pretend to know everything or for that matter, anything of substance. In fact, the more I study, learn, and think about the vast wisdom and knowledge out there, the more I realised how little I know about life and the ways of life. Hence, I have always ended my article by asking readers to continue to teach me. For I, too, am a sojourner in the exploration of truth and the adventure of finding meaning, purpose, and significance for my existence. I am proud of and make no apology for being a Christian, albeit not the most exemplary one. I believe our Creator can lead and guide us to be the best that we can ever be. I bear full responsibility for the shortcoming and error in my life, including my words. The fault is entirely mine and not due to anyone else. Readers have and can exercise the power of choice. They can discard what will not work for them and adopt those that can propel them further and faster in the pursuit of better performance, outcomes, and fulfillment. If I have disappointed or hurt you in any way, form, or manner, I would like to apologise to you. Please do not hold them against me or whoever or whatever is related to me. There are much to pray about, learn, and do. And I'll work on them with a sense of urgency. I hold on to the belief that 'Anything worth doing is worth doing with passion and excellence'. I'll endeavour to live by it. Life is short. There's no dress rehearsal and neither can we turn back the clock to change the drama of life. Therefore, by the grace and power of our Creator, let's live a full life and live it to the fullest. May God bless you abundantly on the journey of life.
